About the Welwitchia University Bridging Programme
Welwitchia University offers comprehensive tutorial classes for students who wish to enhance their grades in various subjects. This programme is tailored for Grade 11 (NSSCO) students, with a focus on the Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) Level, aligned with the new Grade 11 curriculum.
Available Bridging Programmes
Welwitchia University provides tutoring in the following key subjects:

- Geography
- Chemistry
- English as a Second Language
- Physics
- Development Studies
- Mathematics
- Agricultural Science
Campus Locations
Limited places are available for the Bridging Programme at these campuses:
- Oshikuku
- Ongwediva
- Walvis Bay
- Windhoek
Basic Entry Requirements and Registration Dates
- Application and Registration Period: 17th November 2023 to 26th January 2025.
- Classes Commence: 29th January 2025.
Note: Preferences will be given to bridging students for further studies at Welwitchia University, provided they pass the aptitude and oral tests.
How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply for the Bridging Programme:
- Visit the official website: www.welwitchia.com.na.
- On the first page, select “Windhoek” under the Institute and choose “Bridging Programme” as the Programme. Click “Proceed”.
- On the second page, choose your preferred campus for the Bridging Programme.
- Pay the application fee of N$230.00 to one of the bank accounts provided below. Attach the proof of payment along with other required documents to your application form.
