General Admission Requirements
Admission Based on School Leaving Certificates (Pre-2021)
For Undergraduate Degree Programmes, you need:
- Option 1:
- Pass five different subjects:
- 2 subjects on higher level (NSSCH) with a grade of 4 or higher.
- 3 subjects on ordinary level (NSSCO) with a grade of C or higher.
- English must be at a minimum of C at NSSCO level.

- A pass in five different subjects with:
- A minimum of 24 points on the UNAM Evaluation Scale.
- English at a minimum of D at NSSCO level.
Admission Based on School Leaving Certificates (2021 Onwards)
For Undergraduate Degree Programmes, you need:
- Option 1:
- Pass five different subjects:
- 2 subjects on NSSCAS level with an average of d or higher.
- 3 subjects on NSSCO level with a grade of C or higher.
- English must be at a minimum of C at NSSCO level.

- Certificate Programmes: Completion of a Level 3 qualification (120 credits) on the NQF.
- Diploma Programmes: Completion of a Level 4 qualification (120 credits) on the NQF.
- Degree Programmes: Completion of a Level 5 qualification (240 credits) on the NQF.

Postgraduate Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma
- A Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) from a recognized institution.
Master’s Degree
- A Bachelor Honours degree (NQF Level 8) or equivalent with an overall grade average of at least 60%.

Doctoral Programmes
