What is PayFast and how does it work?

Looking What is PayFast and how does it work? PayFast is a payments processing service for South Africans and South African websites. We enable easy, secure and instant transfer of money from online buyers to sellers.

PayFast handles the payments and redirects your visitors back to your website where they can continue browsing through your store.

To register for a PayFast account.

1. Go to: PayFast
2. Register
3. Verify your account
4. Go to: PayFast > Settings > Integration
5. Copy your Merchant ID and Merchant Key. This is what we will need when we set up your WooCommerce store.  Or leave this window open after signup.
6. Add and copy a passphrase
   
7. If you’re using Subscriptions and/or Pre-orders,
   • Verify that Ad hoc Payments are enabled under Integration Settings > Recurring payments.
