- Fulfillment of the required Admission Point Score (APS) for the specific program.
- Matriculation Certificate (Pre-2008):
- Applicants who completed their matriculation before 2008 can apply with their Senior Certificate, provided they have full university exemption and have converted their grades to meet the required APS.
- National Certificate (Vocational) NC(V) Level 4:
- Degree Programs: Three fundamental subjects at 60%, including Life Orientation, and four vocational subjects at 70%.
- Diploma Programs: Three fundamental subjects at 50%, including Life Orientation, and three compulsory vocational subjects at 60%.
Meeting these minimum requirements, however, does not guarantee admission, as some programs may have additional selection criteria.
