The Gauteng Department of Education(GDE) admissions registration 2026 has opened for grade 1 and grade 8 admissions for the 2026 school year.
GDE admissions registration Applications are open from 25 June to 25 July 2026. Parents can apply to a maximum of 5 schools.
Supporting documents must be submitted along with the application, this must be done within 7 days of applying.

Parents are encouraged to use a reliable cellphone number when applying, as the Department will send regular SMSes to the cell phone number used to register and apply.
