You can apply either in person or by submitting your application documents via mail or email. Here’s how:

On-Campus Application

  • Visit the COTA main campus or KCAC campus to collect an application form.
  • Complete the form and return it to the College of the Arts, P.O Box 2963, Windhoek, Namibia, or email it to diplomaapplications.cota@gmail.com.

Online Application

  • Download the PDF application form (available on the official COTA website).
  • Complete the form, scan it, and email it along with all required documents to diplomaapplications.cota@gmail.com.
  • Alternatively, you can send your completed application via post or submit it at either the COTA Town Campus or the KCAC Campus in Windhoek.

COTA 2025 Entry Requirements

Each diploma programme has specific entry criteria. Here’s a summary:

Diploma in Television Production, Radio Production, Performing Arts, New Media Design, Fashion Design, and Visual Arts

  • Academic Requirements: Grade 12/NSSCO (ordinary level) with a minimum of 23 points and at least a C in English.
  • Mature Age Entry: 23 years and older with three years of proven experience.

Music Programmes

  • Academic Requirements: Grade 12/NSSCO (ordinary level) with a minimum of 23 points and at least a C in English.
  • Music Theory & Instrument Proficiency: Grade 5 in any instrument and Grade 3 in Music Theory (Trinity, ABRSM, UNISA).

Note: Exceptional candidates over 19 years with demonstrated potential may be accepted into bridging programmes, which can lead to diploma eligibility.

  • Fill in your application form completely using BLOCK CAPITAL letters.
  • Attach certified copies of your academic records and passport or National ID.
  • Include a passport-sized photo.
  • Applicants with foreign qualifications must have them evaluated by the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) before submission.
