Founded in 1994 by Hon. Prof. David Richard Namwandi, IUM began as the Institute of Higher Education and has since grown into Namibia’s first private university. Officially launched in 2002 by His Excellency Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma, the university has become a leading institution in the region.
