REGISTRATION ON STATS SA RECRUITMENT DATABASE REOPENS
Stats SA has reopened registration for contract employment on the recruitment database for prospective candidates. The recruitment database was reopened due to low registration in several areas where candidates are required. Several areas across the country have been sampled for the Census 2021 Mini Test scheduled to start in October this year and people who reside in those areas are invited to apply for fieldwork opportunities. Those areas are:

- Registration is online via the Stats SA website on www.statssa.gov.za
- The youth are encouraged to apply in order to learn and gain valuable experience in the data environment
- Registration is open until 15 September 2019
- Registration is free
The applicant must:
- have a minimum of a Senior Certificate (Matric or equivalent);
- be proficient in any of the 11 official languages;
- be willing to work over weekends and outside of normal office hours;
- be an RSA citizen with no criminal record.
Please attach proof of residence (e.g. municipality rates bill, clothing account statements, tribal authority letter, affidavit, etc.)
Any registration without the above-mentioned supporting document will be regarded as incomplete and the applicant will not be able to complete the registration on the database.
