How to Log in to VUT Blackboard

Follow these steps to access VUT Blackboard:

1. Go to the VUT Website
   • Visit the official VUT website.
2. Click on Vutela/Blackboard
   • Locate and click the Vutela/Blackboard option.
3. Enter Your Login Credentials
   • Username: Your student email address (e.g., studentnumber@edu.vut.ac.za).
   • Password: Your date of birth in the format YYYYMMDD.
4. Click Login
   • Once your details are entered, click Login to access your dashboard.

If you have never changed your password, you will use the default credentials:

• Username: Student email (studentnumber@edu.vut.ac.za)
• Password: Your date of birth (YYYYMMDD)`

If you have changed your password and forgotten it, you can reset it through your VUT email account.

How to Request a PIN for VUT Blackboard

If you need to request a PIN, follow these steps:

1. Click on the ITS iEnabler link on the VUT website.
2. Enter your student number.
3. Click on Request PIN.
4. The PIN will be sent to your VUT student email account.
