With UFS Registration, Free State University (UFS) administrators have opened a student registration portal for first-year and senior students to register for diploma, bachelor’s, and graduate-level semester courses. Certain dates and deadlines have been set for registration and closure of the registration portal. It is not possible to register later, so we encourage you to register early to avoid losing your place on UFS.
Enrollment Deadline or Enrollment Deadline is the enrollment deadline set by an educational institution for enrolling courses and modules for any given semester. South African schools (universities) typically have submission deadlines within two weeks to he one month after the student registration portal opens.
Therefore, all UFS students (old and new) must adhere to the following registration deadlines to ensure their safety.

Online academic advice and online registration for senior students is from 17 to 31 January 2024. Online academic advice and online registration for first-year students is from 1 to 11 February 2024. Lectures begin on 14 February 2024 for undergraduate studies.
NOTE: Postgraduate students must consult their respective departments in terms of the start of their academic activities in 2024.
