How do I check the status of my FAFSA® application?
To check the status of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, go to fafsa.gov and select the “Log In” button. Your FAFSA status can be found on the “My FAFSA” page, which displays immediately after you log in if you have already started or completed a FAFSA form.
To check on the status of financial aid being disbursed to you or your account, check with the financial aid office at your college or career school.
Note: If you submitted a paper FAFSA form, you can check the status of your application after it has been processed (roughly seven to ten days from the date mailed).
How do I find my fafsa ID?
To check to see if you have an FSA ID, log in to your account. Enter your FSA ID username and password. If you verified your email address or mobile phone number during account creation, you can enter either one instead of your username. If you are able to log in and see your profile, then you have an FSA ID.
