About MHRD NATS
The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme in India was started by the Board of Apprenticeship and Training/Practical Training. It is a flagship programme from the Government of India, and undertaken by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The programme is aimed at enhancing the employability of students by equipping technically qualified youth with practical knowledge and skills required in their respective field(s) of work.

Educational Qualification
A degree in engineering or technology / Diploma granted by statutory University.
A degree in engineering or technology / Diploma granted by an Institutions empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament.
Graduate examination of Provisional bodies recognized by the Central Government as equivalent to a degree.
A sandwich course student who is under-going training in order that he may hold a degree in engineering or technology as mentioned at (a) and (b) above
