With the release of its 2018 rankings of the top U.S. nursing schools, Nursing Schools Almanac placed Emmanuel College among the top nursing schools in New England. Of the 3,000 institutions assessed by Nursing Schools Almanac’s research team, only 15% made the list of top schools in each geographic region.

Each of the ranked institutions’ nursing programs were evaluated based on its academic prestige and perceived value, the breadth and depth of programs offered, and measured student success, especially in NCLEX national licensure exam.
Emmanuel’s undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing include a newly announced Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, an RN-to-BSN program that launched in 1980 that now functions fully online, and a Master of Science in Nursing program with tracks in nursing education and nursing administration, which launched in 2011.
Along with its accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Emmanuel’s nursing programs are bolstered by the College’s proximity to the Longwood Medical and Academic Area as well as its longstanding partnerships with area hospitals, including Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, Boston Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and others.
