How to link a mobile number to a SingPass account for two-factor authentication

To link your mobile number to your SingPass account for two-factor authentication (2FA) in Singapore, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your SingPass account using your SingPass ID and password.
  2. Click on the “Profile” tab located on the top right-hand corner of the page.
  3. Under the “Profile” tab, click on “Mobile Number”.
  4. Click on “Add Mobile Number” and enter your mobile number.
  5. You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS to the mobile number you provided.
  6. Enter the OTP on the SingPass website and click “Submit”.
  7. Your mobile number will now be linked to your SingPass account for 2FA.

Note: To use 2FA for SingPass transactions, you will need to have the “SingPass Mobile” app installed on your mobile device. You can download the app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).
