GetResponse Pricing: Additional Remarks

If your user list exceeds the number in your price plan, you are automatically bumped to the next tier. So if you pay $15 a month for the BASIC plan and you get 1001 users, you will be charged an additional $10 the next month. This brings it to a total of $25, the price for the 2500 user tier and ensures none of your future contacts are lost.

You can cancel your account at any time. This will delete all your saved data though, so make sure you export your contact lists! GetResponse does not offer refunds, even if you cancel a day after subscribing for a plan.

Many of you will be comparing the BASIC and PLUS plans. The most significant difference of PLUS is the access to GetResponse’s CRM, the possibility to add additional admin accounts and the Conversion funnel feature. So if you don’t need any of these then you should be good with the BASIC plan.

Conclusion

GetResponse’s pricing based on the size of your mailing list makes it easy to scale things as you go along. This means the BASIC plan should be enough for small companies and individuals who need robust marketing features without spending too much. Apart from the ability to add additional users and make use of the Conversion funnel feature, we don’t see a huge difference between the BASIC and PLUS plans.

The leap is really between PLUS and PROFESSIONAL. Ecommerce and online shops will benefit from Web Event Tracking and the Abandoned Cart feature that are included in PROFESSIONAL. If you see a lot of bounces on your checkout page, it might be worth focusing your efforts there, however you’ll be spending quite a bit more on your monthly plan.
