Generally, trustees are required to pay out the MPF within 30 days after receiving all required documents. The statutory declaration submitted to trustees must be original.

Prepare a declaration form for each trustee and ensure that each declaration form is signed and sealed (if applicable) by a person authorized to administer a statutory declaration.
In Hong Kong, the statutory declaration of scheme members can be made before and signed by a Commissioner for Oaths at the Home Affairs Department (HAD), Notary Public or Justice of the Peace.
