Yes, the University of Manitoba does waive application fees for certain groups of students in Canada.
Undergraduate students:
- Senior students (65 years of age or older and Canadian citizens or permanent residents)
Graduate students:
- Students applying through the Canadian University Graduate Transfer Agreement (CUGTA)
To apply for a fee waiver, students must submit the appropriate documentation to the University of Manitoba Admissions Office.
Undergraduate students:

Graduate students:
- A copy of the “Authorization Form: Western Deans’ Agreement” signed by their Department/Unit Head or advisor/co-advisor
Students can submit their fee waiver applications online or by mail.
