Dis-Chem Clinic Connect
Introducing an innovative and convenient service for you and your family to receive the best of care. Clinic Connect is a first of its kind nurse-led primary healthcare service, that allows our nurses to video our doctor on call should you require further consultation or a repeat of your medication. Quality care, enabled by the kind, passionate and welltrained nursing sisters together with the innovative telemedicine technology that links patients to a network of GPs as and when they are needed.
How does it work?
Nurse consultation
Upon arrival at the Wellness Clinic one of our nurses will conduct a full medical history and clinical examination at a cost of R90.

Virtual doctor consultation
If the nurse finds it necessary, a video consultation with the doctor – including additional tests and examinations will be performed at a cost of R250.

Prescriptions
While the nurse finishes with your consultation, the doctor can write you a prescription, repeat prescription and/or sick note, or refer you to a specialist (if deemed necessay).
*The doctors can only issue prescriptions up to schedule 4.
