About UPSC CDS (2) 2026

UPSC CDS (II) 2026 will be conducted on November 14. The online application form for the CDS (II) 2026 is scheduled to be released on August 4. UPSC CDS entrance exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice every year for the recruitment of suitable candidates who will serve the nation through the Defense services. UPSC CDS Part I and Part II is conducted every year for those aspirants who are seeking a career in the Indian Air Force, Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Officer’s Training Academy. Every year in the month of February and November, UPSC conducts the CDS examination which begins with a written exam followed by a Personal Interview and concludes with the medical examination.

To apply for the UPSC CDS examination, the aspirants must have completed their Bachelor’s degree from a recognised Indian University. The aspirants have to visit the official UPSC website in order to apply for the same.

Once selected, the candidates will be inducted in the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Indian Military Academy Dehradun, Officer’s Training Academy Chennai and Air Force Academy Hyderabad based on their rank and choices opted by them during the filling up of the online application form. Such candidates will also be eligible to receive a monthly stipend of INR 21,000. All the important details have been provided to help the aspirants who want to don the prestigious uniform.
