IAS Abhishek Singh hails from the Jaunpur city of Uttar Pradesh is a renowned bureaucrat. He has served as Deputy Commissioner in Delhi and passed the UPSC examination in 2011. Abhishek’s wife Durga Shakti Nagpal is also an IAS. While Abhishek trails his career in Bureaucracy, he is becoming a popular name in the music industry due to his love story and heartbreak.

When Abhishek was preparing for his UPSC exam, he fell in love with a girl. Though he wanted to marry her, she cheated on him and his love story ended. The heartbreak and breakup affected Abhishek Singh a lot and he went into depression. This was the period that pushed Abhishek Singh far back in life and he even started thinking about giving up his life. But later he stood up and then he handled himself. Abhishek took the breakup and made it his strength. 

While Abhishek was preparing for the UPSC examination, he was also interested in acting and continued following both.

After the release of his song ‘Dil Tod Ke’ by B Praak, in an interview, Abhishek revealed his past love story. He shared his journey of recovering from the heartbreak. Abhishek revealed that it took him a year to recover from the pain of the breakup. Later he turned his focus into studies and focused on the UPSC exam and secured 94th rank in 2011. 

Abhishek Singh Acting Career

Though Abhishek became an IAS officer and joined bureaucracy, he didn’t leave his passion for acting. He continued his love for acting and music and did many roles in web series and TV serials simultaneously. And people are speculating him to be the only IAS officer to do both things together.

Earlier Abhsiehk was seen in the song Dil Tod Ke by B Praak. The song trended on Youtube and got more than 392 views in the last 8 months. While the song was a hit, his new song ‘Tujhe Bhoolna to Chaha’ by Zubin Nautiyal is again set to break the previous record.
