Botox Gummy Smile

A gummy smile is when teeth and a significant amount of gums show when a person smiles. There are a variety of causes, from jaw and teeth development issues to large teeth. One cause is the muscle that controls your upper lip may be hyperactive, which causes your upper lip to rise higher than normal when you smile. If this is the case, Botox® or other botulinum toxin products can be used to reduce the action of this muscle, reducing the elevation of your upper lip when you smile.

TREATMENT :

A small amount of Botulinum toxin will be injected at both sides of the junction of nostril and nose to mouth fold to weaken the muscles. Within the next 3-10 days, the elevation of the upper lip will gradually become less and your new smile is transformed! You will show less gum and have much more confidence to smile without inhibition. The full result will be achieved 2 weeks after the treatment

POST TREATMENT :

Avoid touching, massaging or apply cosmetics or creams to the area for 6 hours. This will reduce risk of infection. All aftercare instructions will be discussed with you before the treatment by our Clinic Coordinator.
