ROS Registration Process

This article talks about ROS Registration and all the steps involved. RAN Letters sometimes take a bit longer probably five(5) to seven(7) days before it arrives. The Revenue posts the letter with the aim to address the record for the tax registration number.

If you have not received the ROS Access Number (RAN) after completing Step 1 of theĀ ROS registration process, then take note of the following hints:

  • The RAN letter may take five to seven working days to arrive.
  • Revenue posts the letter to the address that is on record for the tax registration number. If you have multiple addresses on file, you should check if it has been posted to any of these addresses.
  • If there is a possibility that the address is incorrect, you should contact your Revenue office to have this updated. After the address is updated, contact the ROS Technical Helpdesk.
  • If it has been longer than seven working days and the address is correct, please contact the ROS Technical Helpdesk.

How long does it take to get a ROS Access Number?

ROS Access Number (RAN) will be issued by post to the business address on our records. The RAN is valid for three months from the date of application. The letter may take up to five working days to arrive to Irish addresses and longer to address outside Ireland.
