NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme)

NSFAS provides financial assistance for poor and academically deserving students.

Applying for NSFAS financial assistance

In the past new students would be required to apply directly at the TVET college. The process has changed now. If you are matriculating in , you must apply directly to NSFAS using this Self-Service NSFAS app.

Please note, if you are already studying at a TVET college and have been funded by NSFAS in , you do not need to re-apply for funding in .
