GITAM Institute of Nursing is located in the main campus of GITAM (Deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam. It was established to provide quality education in nursing to meet the ever growing demand for competent nurses in the country. The B. Sc. Nursing program has been offered, with permission from the Indian Nursing Council, UGC & MHRD, Govt. of India, from the academic year 2016-17. In the year 2017-18 M. Sc. Nursing – Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care (NPCC) Post graduate Residency program was started. GITAM is the only University offering NPCC program in AP & Telangana States, approved by Govt of India.
