Directions to Eskom Megawatt Park

From Johannesburg

  1. Take the M1 North towards Pretoria.
  2. Exit at the Woodmead offramp.
  3. Follow the road left through the yield sign onto Kyalami Road.
  4. Go straight over the first traffic lights (Woodlands Drive, with Dunwoody Centre on your left).
  5. At the next traffic lights, turn left into Maxwell Drive (R564).
  6. Turn right into the Eskom Head Office entrance (security boom at the gate).

Note: After passing through the security gates, you’ll encounter a traffic circle; turn right at the circle, and visitor’s parking will be on your left.

From Roodepoort

  1. Take the Western Bypass (N1) and exit at the Rivonia offramp.
  2. At the traffic lights at the bottom of the offramp, turn left and immediately move to the right before the next traffic lights.
  3. At these lights, turn right into Witkoppen Road, traveling parallel to the freeway.
  4. Go straight over the first traffic lights (Bowling Road, with Sunninghill Hospital on your left).
  5. Continue to the next traffic lights and cross straight over into the Eskom Head Office entrance (security boom at the gate).

From Pretoria

  1. Take the Ben Schoeman (M1) highway to Johannesburg.
  2. Stay on the Johannesburg highway and exit at the Woodmead offramp.
  3. At the top of the offramp, turn right at the traffic lights onto R55 to Woodmead.
  4. Go straight over the first traffic lights (Woodlands Drive, with Dunwoody Centre on your left).
  5. At the next traffic lights, turn left into Maxwell Drive (R564).
  6. At the next robot, turn right into the Eskom Head Office entrance (security boom at the gate).
